Woolf Walking
| Elisa Kay Sparks Woolf Walking Spring 2005 --------------------------------------- This color reduction woodcut was commissioned as the poster-image for the 2005 International Virginia Woolf Conference at Lewis & Clark in Portland Oregon. The image of Woolf is based on a 1916 photograph taken while she was walking in Cornwall. At the request of the conference organizers, I included roses and the river in the frame as references to the conference location. IMage was also used for the cover of the conference proceedings, which I co-edited. |
