My first silkscreen, this image juxtaposes images of Virginia Woolf, the x-ray of an iris,
and a hand holding a book. Used as a logo for the 1996 Virginia Woolf Conference at
Clemson, a black and white version illustrated the cover of the Spring 1996 issue of
the South Carolina Review. Later, the color version was also used as the cover for the
first translation of A Room of One's Own into Mandarin (published as an e-book).
