| Elisa Kay Sparks Canna Leaves [AfterGeorgia] 1997 --------------------------------------- Learning the counter-intuitive process of color reduction woodcut took me some time; in the beginning I experimented by trying to render some of Georgia O'Keeffe's compositions in woodcut. Doing this also taught me a good deal about O'Keeffe's sense of rhythm, balance, and color. |
